If you live in the the South Florida area you probably have heard of RBE Meet Up; Rich Bitch Energy Meet Up, a women’s networking group or should I say “organization” (I’ll get to that later).

This group was orchestrated by Madean Gilzene (May), Lifestyle and Fashion Influencer (IG: authenticallymay) and it is co-hosted with her friend @PrettyBree, Youtuber and Beauty Mogul. I remember one of their first events. It was hosted at Roof Top @1WLO in Fort Lauderdale and I remember stalking everyone’s IG story that day and living vicariously through their videos.

Me: “Damn that’s a bad ass dress,” “Omg, that’s such a pretty color,” “Oh, she was there too!?” “Damn, I should have went”

And that’s exactly how I’d been feeling for the last year seeing RBE post their events, “Damn, I should have went”. My schedule just never aligned, but when I saw May post the flyer for the September Meet Up, I made it my business to be present for the September 14th Meet Up.

I spent the night before prepping my outfit. I needed something that was “gone hit”. I mean you can’t be a boutique owner and be out here slipping lol. I paced back and forth in my closet that night sorting through my millions of After 5 Lux outfits before I arrived at my final decision– a red blazer short set and navy chiffon blouse with a red and navy ribbon (All from After 5 Lux). Because the blouse was already doing so much I opted to just drape the blazer on my shoulder. I accentuated the look with gold accessories to bring out the gold buttons on the blouse. And I found the perfect navy and red heels to match the ribbon of the blouse. I put a fresh crease in my shorts and blazer sleeve and baby I was READY-TO-GO! Yes, I still iron. You should try it! LOL

The September Meet Up was held in Delray Beach at the Delray Beach Market Place, 33 SE 3rd Ave., Delray Beach, FL 33483. Mind you, I live in West Palm Beach so that was like a 20 minute drive for me. Thennnnn on the way there it started raining and there was a car accident. Between me making sure my businesses (After 5 Lux, The Lux Loft, and Chelea Nikole) were running smoothly while I was out, picking out my outfit, and driving 20 minutes south, I had really put in a lot of effort to make it to the Meet Up. That’s why I was soooooo mad!

Upon arriving there and experiencing this RBE Meet Up that everyone had been bragging about, I was mad that it had taken me so long to experience this illustrious networking opportunity. Everyone woman in the South Florida area has to experience this for themselves. May operates in excellence, which calls you to reciprocate. The room was filled with so many dynamic women– from chief financial officers, tech giants, doctors, nurse practitioners, hair stylists, and business moguls like myself.

The diversity is probably one of the biggest factors of RBE Meet Up. So if you think it’s all about fashion, you can toss that idea out the window. RBE offers you the opportunity to network with women from all walks of life. It’s the mecca for “Collaboration over Competition”.

Imagine this: Your future client frequents the Medspa for her weightloss and beauty needs and the Medspa owner refers her to your boutique when she’s ready to show off that new hott bod! And all that was facilitated through RBE!

May announced that RBE is now officially registered as an organization and is offering memberships, which is very well worth it! Are you ready to collaborate with like-minded women?
