I guess Saturday was a day to experiment with different brands! I was invited to an apparel launching party and I needed the perfect attire. I visited several malls, all to be disappointed. I could not find anything that spoke to me. Right when I thought I was all out of options, something triggered in my mind to check out local boutiques.

A friend of mine is starting her own boutique so I hit her up to see what cool items she had that I could possibly wear to the launch party. She texted me a couple of items, but when she sent me these pants, hearts flashed in my eyes like an emoji. I texted her back “On my way! Where are you now?” (followed by a car emoji with smoke puffs) What made these pants special to me was the skirt covering. It gave the pants the illusion of a skirt, which was very chic. The fabric was very light weight, which was great to accomodate the 90 degree temperatures South Florida has been experiencing. All I can say is it is going to be one hot summer.

The pants did not come with a top, so finding one was hard. I had to worry about the fabrics and the colors matching. To ease my troubles, I brought the pants to the mall with me. I was able to try everything on together and see what styles were a match made in heaven. I love the top with the pants because it is a balance of chic and sexy. The straps were adjustable and the fitted zipper assisted with lifting the girls. To keep the look casual, I paired the ensemble with open toe heels.

This weekend, my friend will be having a sip and shop event (at 2pm) to launch the opening of her boutique, Slayerz. I will definitely be in attendance and I would love to see you there.

These are a pair of the jeans gifted to me at the Cultured Revolution launch party. Cultured Revolution, is a leading denim wear company. The brand has been around for years, but since its beginning, the designs have been heightened. Manufactured in the United States, the quality of the denim is undeniably great. When I tried the jeans on they felt so good on my bottom. I love the details in the shorts like the silver studs, the brown leather trimming on the pockets, and the patriotic flag pockets. The packaging for the jeans is very unique. The knapsack symbolizes culture within itself. The style is totally perfect for Memorial Day or Fourth of July.

The launch was one of the coolest launch parties I have seen in Palm Beach. It was totally channeling L.A. Vibes: food trucks, music, and an assembly of hipsters!
