I’ve been learning how to smile more! It all started with the very first shoot I did with my photographer Chelsae Anne. While posing up a storm, I was killing the shoot with my infamous ‘Resting B**ch Face’. But little did I know, I was killing the shoot for real! It was so dead because I was not allowing her to see the warm side of me. The cheery side of me.
She was like “Wow! You have a great smile. You should smile more.” Which was code for damnnn can you stop mugging?
I gave it a try and to my surprise I liked it. It seemed as though all my favorite pictures were of me smiling.
I mean do not get me wrong. The slay face is sometimes called for, but just not all the time.
One of my new goals is to smile more. You can be very approachable, but how would anyone know if you do not look pleasant? Plus, you never know who’s day you may brighten up with your radiating smile.
With the recent cold front, it seems as though I wore this little ensemble just in time! I kept it really simple with an Olive Deep V Bodysuit and a Camel High Split Lace Up Skirt. Three things I like about this look: the color of the bodysuit, the plunge of the bodysuit, and the color blocking of the outfit.
Olive is one my favorite colors. You can wear it in any season and it goes with almost every color you pair it with. My breasts are one of my greatest attributes. With them not being too big or too small, tops like this really compliment that area of my body. Not to mention, gravity is taking over so I better wear this type of top while I still can. I like experimenting with color combinations. It makes your outfit more vibrant. People look at you and they say “Wow, I would have never thought to put those colors together.”
These pumps are so classic. They go with almost everything, and for that reason expect to see me wear them A LOT. I chose a closed toe shoe because it makes the outfit more formal.
Enjoy closer looks of the skirt. Although the split is a little dramatic it is not baring. Notice that even though the thigh area is laced you are not really that exposed.
Hope you guys enjoyed this look. As always, outfit details are below (clicking the hyperlinks will bring you straight to the item). Sometimes the items are sold out online, but I encourage you to check your local stores.
